Erika Alexander carries the legacy of her grandfather, the Honourable Lincoln M. Alexander, sharing his stories and values across Ontario. Passionate about public speaking, she has been the voice of the annual Lincoln M. Alexander Awards since 2013, connecting with community youth leaders and continuing her grandfather’s mission. She is also the granddaughter of Irish-Canadian farmers, who have been farming in Ontario for over 250 years.
A proud Hamiltonian, Erika lives with her fiancé Kwabeno Neale and is expecting their first child. She holds a Public Relations and Corporate Communications diploma from Mohawk College, and dual bachelor degrees in Political Science and Religious Studies from McMaster University. Through 10 years of working with the Hamilton Police Service, education, and life experiences, Erika excels in communication, planning, program development, and training facilitation.
Proud of her mixed heritage, Erika connects deeply with Canadians through networking and volunteering with various community organizations and supporting traditional Canadian values. She aims to uphold her family’s legacy of service, advocating for sustainable living, equality of opportunity, and contributing to Canada’s growth.
