Continue to ensure that all facilities and programs in the District are fully accessible so that all students are afforded an equal educational opportunity delivered in accordance with their needs as defined by law. Accessibility in the District context is a means of promoting inclusivity to ensure that each child in the Langleys, irrespective circumstance, has an equal opportunity to obtain the benefits of a good public education.

Continue to promote livable communities by working closely with municipal governments, community groups, and other partners to ensure that community interest in public education is considered in plans, strategies and deliberations. Our success as a community depends on educating our children who are both our legacy and the stewards of our tomorrow.

Continue to advance Good Governance through Communication, Accountability and Respect by: (1) ensuring that decision making is the result of debate at public board meetings and transparent to the tax payers of the Langleys through availability of live streaming and other media dissemination; (2) advocating for adequate funding and ensuring prudent financial stewardship to maintain the sustainability of good quality public education in the Langleys; and (3) requiring inclusive, receptive and meaningful consultation with all of the District’s partners – governments, taxpayers, parents, students and staff. Democracy thrives in the sunlight of inclusivity, transparency, and competence in public administration.
