Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team
Hello, I have been a community leader & creative professional with over two decades of experience managing people and leading teams. I have been fortunate to live in Port Coquitlam with my husband Mike and 3 daughters for the past 30 years.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I would like to be an advocate and facilitator for the residents of Port Coquitlam. Respresenting wants, needs preferences and priorities that are important to them in their City. I want a city that invests in things that bring people together.

Other areas of importance:

Creating a vibrant Downtown core - Diverse local shops and restruants, community growth in responsible, eco-friendly ways.

Transportation - improvement to connect our community, and connect us to other communites, that is less reliant on cars.

Diversity and inclusion - Making sure ethnic minority groups have a voice and asking what is important to them to help them settle, adapt and thrive in our city.

Maintaining fiscal responsibility

Community safety - partner and support with our police services and ensure there are programs that make our streets and city safe. Address concerns for our residents

Although while my opinions on issues are important , I am not running to be able to execute my views and priorities, but rather be an advocate, ally and friend to the residents of Port Coquitlam.
