Through consulting teachers, students, parents, and other stakeholders, I have seen and heard the challenges facing our district. Students need support, food security, and mental health advocacy so they can succeed in academics, and that's what I will advocate for in our schools.

Margaret is a parent in the Chilliwack district, a dedicated community servant, and a true collaborator in all she does. Her experience in non-profit leadership and passion for public education make her the perfect candidate for School Trustee.

Parent-Focused

Margaret is a mom first. With three children in Chilliwack public schools, and as a former Chilliwack District Parent Advisory Council representative, she knows firsthand the challenges that parents and kids face throughout Chilliwack's schools.

Experienced

Margaret has founded and served on several non-profit organization boards, including the Downtown Chilliwack Community Market, Chilliwack Citizens for Change, and Chilliwack Pride. She has a broad depth of experience managing budgets, consulting and cooperating with a wide variety of stakeholders, and problem solving.​

Collaborative

Margaret is a committed community advocate who listens and collaborates with her community to create bold, shared solutions. Through her work in food security and emergency response, she has connected farmers, churches, Indigenous communities, and non-profits to deliver services to communities with complex needs.
