Biography
submitted by the candidate or their team
A current City Councillor, seeking re-election with RITE Richmond. Before my election success, I attended and spoke at more council meeting that than anyone else in our City. I've volunteered in our parks and trails for most of my life and now lead as the Chair of Parks and Rec.
Reason for running
submitted by the candidate or their team
As a lifelong resident, I care deeply about Richmond and believe our city’s future deserves evidence-based leadership. I'll continue bringing a community-minded perspective, one that listens to residents, and recognizes the connections between city operations and the environment.
I’m a homeowner, a science teacher with a Master’s in Education, a husband and father, and a City Councillor who has maintained a 100% attendance record at council committee meetings this term. For more than two decades, I have been involved in municipal issues, working to improve our neighbourhoods and protect the natural environment that makes Richmond special. If re-elected, I will work with council colleagues, the mayor, staff, developers and residents to build a sustainable future while ensuring that Richmond remains a great place to live for families today and generations to come
