No economy can function properly and attract foreign and domestic investment capital if you can’t get products to market. Driving investment requires reliable trading partners. Alberta has overpaid into the federal equalization program a staggering $ 83 billion dollars, 2007 to 2025. PPC believes that some if not all of that money should be returned to Alberta in the form of infrastructure developments. Fort McMurray and our oil sand are the key economic driver of the Canadian Economy. Fort McMurray and Cold Lake are the gateway to the north, Canada economic engine and are strategically positioned in Canada from a national security perspective.
