I want to ensure that Alberta has a prosperous future, as the era of globalization ends, Albertans need political leaders that will fight to build a future for generations to come. I want combat rising costs and figure out ways to stop Albertans wallets being squeezed.

I believe in having affordable cell and high speed internet services throughout all of Alberta

•Building the infrastructure to ensure comprehensive access

•Fighting to lower cell phone and internet costs that strangling Albertans with predatory pricing

•Work with the federal government in order to achieve these goals for Albertans

Childcare

Ensure that the $10/day Child Care program continues to be implemented and ensure child safety in minor sports

•Continue working with the federal government to ensure this program succeeds and benefits Albertans

•We need to establish guidelines and regulations for sports teams so that the teams, parents, and most importantly the children are protected and can have a positive experience.

Food prices

Stabilize rising grocery costs so that Albertans can have access to a fundamental basic need

•Investigate price gouging and if found doing so, fines will be instituted and further action if necessary

•Find ways to reduce costs on machinery and equipment for farmers

Health & Healthcare

Dental care and optometry

I believe that dental and optical care should be covered under our public healthcare

•Continue working with the federal government under the ‘Canadian Dental Care Plan’ to provide the best care for Albertans

•I believe that ‘luxury organs’ & ‘luxury bones’ should not exist, so basic dental & optical should be covered under our public health care system

Jacob was born and raised in Strathcona County, living there for over 27 years. He has worked at Jiffy Lube since 2014, rising through the organization becoming the store manager in 2020. He attended NAIT earning his Bachelors of Business Administration degree in 2019.

Jacob Stacey has worked at both the Jiffy Lubes in Sherwood Park and Beaumont for over six years. Starting in 2015 at the Jiffy Lube in Sherwood Park as a service technician, rising through the organization with hard work and dedication to the company. He achieved supervisor in 2018, assistant manager in 2019. Finally moving to the Beaumont location in 2020, first as the interim manager, then the permanent store manager.

He attended NAIT for his Bachelors of Business Administration degree, which he earned in 2019, garnering top marks and accolades from his instructors, all while working full time.

He was born and raised in Strathcona County, living there for over 27 years: Going to school at Salisbury Composite High School, developing friendships, and starting his career. He believes in making Sherwood Park and all of Alberta more affordable for future generations, so that the children and grandchildren of those that have built its communities can continue to make Alberta the great place that it is.

Jacob has always had a belief in strong family connections. His parents and brother have lived in Strathcona County for over 30 years. He and his significant other, Jamila, are planning their long-term future together, making a life in Alberta.

I have been witnessing costs rising and squeezing Albertans, and I felt that current government was doing nothing systemically to help.

And simply the world is a chagin, and this current government is doing little to prepare Alberta for a post globalization brave new world.
