We are pleased to announce that Daisy Petersen President of CUPE Local 1159 is our candidate for Restigouche East in the 2024 Election.

Daisy Petersen was born in Dalhousie and has been dedicated to her career in long term care, since 2007. Completing her Practical Nurse program from NBCC Miramichi-Dalhousie in 2010 she continues to provide care to our seniors at Villa Renaissance (formerly Dalhousie Nursing home)

Daisy Has been a committed member of CUPE since 2007, beginning as a shop steward, and serving as Vice President for one term. Currently she is in her second term as President for Local 1159.

Alongside her professional achievements and responsibilities, Daisy is also a devoted Mother to two boys.
