Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team
My name is Cam Scott, and I’m a poet, musician, and local organizer. I’m honoured to stand as the Communist Party of Canada candidate for Winnipeg South Centre, where I worked in retail for the better part of two decades.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I'm running to offer an uncynical, anti-capitalist line on the ballot. This year has taught us decisive lessons about the perils of private ownership and the profit system; about the necessity of mass movements against political inertia; and the need for climate revolution now.
