Les Jickling is an independent consultant and former healthcare executive who spent many years in the technology and biotechnology sectors. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Master’s degree in Business Administration. Throughout his life he has been active in the community with various athletic and service organizations. He is a former Ironman triathlete, an open water swimmer and an expedition kayaker.

Archie was born in Vancouver, the second of four boys in a family engaged in the commercial fishing industry. He attended law school at the University of British Columbia, going on to practice primarily in family and criminal law. Prior to his legal career, Archie gained valuable experience from working in the fishing industry, with community organizations like Little Mountain Neighbourhood House, and a number of outdoor and environmental organizations. Archie has been a Green supporter for more than 20 years, and continues to seek opportunities for education on environmental issues and research. He is proud to be taking the next step in his climate activism by becoming the Green Party candidate in North Vancouver.
