Active in her community, she serves on the Rothesay Works and Utilities Committee and advocates for a nuclear-free future based on renewable energy and efficiency. She and her neighbours have worked to protect their community from fracking, the Energy East pipeline, glyphosate-spraying and a commercial development proposed for a government-regulated wetland.
