Sophie Thiébaut has been a city councillor for 12 years. As a city councillor her key responsibilities have included helping to create a more inclusive and cohesive city and developing a plan to tackle the climate crisis. Living in our borough for the past 20 years, she has been deeply involved with the community. She has worked as a community organizer and was the founder of the Mobilization Turcot in 2007, a large movement that fought for the sustainable redevelopment of the Turcot Interchange with better public transit.
