Deb Schulte was first elected as the Member of Parliament for King—Vaughan in 2015. Deb is a strong voice for her community and serves as Minister of Seniors. As a Member of Parliament, Deb brings people together. Her hard work saw the House of Commons unanimously pass her motion to mark June as Italian Heritage Month. Her leadership as Chair of the Environment Committee saw two reports supported by all parties. As Minister, she worked to ensure new one-time payments to help seniors during the COVID-19 pandemic, and additional support for seniors with the expansion of the New Horizons for Seniors program.
