People are at the heart of Ross’s decision to seek a seat on Council. He recognizes that our challenges are complex and that people are struggling to make ends meet while governments at all levels are failing to provide support for people who need it most.
Natural disasters due to climate change have become far too common. Important decisions are on the horizon, and strong, progressive leadership is required to ensure Vernon makes the right choices to improve our community’s safety and well-being, housing and affordability, transportation needs, services for seniors and families, and climate strategies. I also want to encourage our community to build civic pride by continuing to supporting, promote and grow the amazing arts/culture/sports and festivals that call Vernon home.
“I believe it is possible to have our cornerstone be small town values while moving forward building a fruitful city for generations to come.”
Let’s build a better Vernon, together.
