Tom is experienced in carpentry and construction, both hands-on and as a supervisor.
Building fishing boats in the Bay, he was a supervisor for twelve years, has worked both inside and outside of the province as a Construction Project Supervisor, owns his own home repair company, and is currently supervising on the construction of five affordable-living apartment buildings being built Douglastown.
Along with his wife, Rhonda, Tom has been engaged as a Therapeutic Foster Parent for many years, and they are parents to an amazing 4-year-old daughter they adopted two years ago.
Very involved with his community, Tom loves music and volunteers his time and his talent for several local events and fundraisers, and supports his wife, Rhonda, in her involvement with Meals on Wheals, Inclusion NB, and other initiatives.
Tom has been an active and involved member of the People’s Alliance since 2011 and believes strongly that NB is overdue for change and that the two-party system is not serving NB citizens well and hasn’t for some time.
Healthcare, education, affordability, and the safety and maintenance of our infrastructure are important to Tom, among things. He especially wants to see a government focus on uniting the province.
