As a Delta City Councillor, Alex FISCHER will:

1. Attract business and investment into Delta so our city can build a stronger local economy, and create new opportunities for Deltans to prosper.
2. Assess Delta’s capital projects and community investments to ensure resources are directed where they are needed most across North Delta, Ladner, and Tsawwassen.
3. Support housing that works for builders, homeowners, and communities by helping create a clearer, more predictable system where people can build with confidence and residents are meaningfully involved.
4. Establish community advisory commissions with diverse representation, giving residents, local experts, and community leaders a stronger role in shaping the decisions that affect their neighbourhoods.
5. Rebuild trust in City Hall through greater transparency, accountability, and a renewed commitment to open, honest decision-making.
6. Stand firm for Delta’s interests when working with the Province, Metro Vancouver, and the Federal Government, ensuring Deltans are not left paying the price for decisions made elsewhere.
7. Take a strong but thoughtful approach to crime and public safety by supporting enforcement while also addressing the root causes that affect safety, disorder, and quality of life in our communities.
