As a Delta City Councillor, Jat PURI will:

1. Ensure each neighbourhood receives balanced attention and solutions tailored to their needs
2. Take a thoughtful approach to long-term planning for the City’s infrastructure and public safety needs, informed by extensive operational, fiscal, and emergency planning experience
3. Promote fiscally responsible budgeting that protects residents from unnecessary tax increases, and recognizes the struggles of youth, young families, and seniors on a fixed income to cope with the high cost of living
4. Support responsible growth that protects neighbourhood character and Delta’s agricultural lands
5. Strengthen clear communication and transparent decision-making at City Hall, drawing on decades of experience in leadership roles
6. Engage residents in discussion, to ensure community voices meaningfully shape decisions in their neighbourhood
