Peter has been a champion for everyday people, helping to build stronger communities that work for you. An engineer, Peter is President of Engineers for the Profession Inc, an advocacy organization that believes the licensing of engineering must keep pace with the accelerating expansion of science and technology to ensure the wellbeing of our people. He understands that public interest is critical and must be safeguarded by competent engineers in all areas of practice as they emerge. E4PInc is wrestling with how this can best be done. He also teaches at Sheridan College, helping to prepare young people with the tools they need to start their careers.
It's time to fight the climate emergency like we want to win. Peter is standing up for ambitious emission targets to help create a clean-energy future. He’s committed to making sure we finally put an end to subsidies for fossil-fuel companies and begin investing in climate change mitigation technologies. Active in local environmental efforts, he has worked alongside Drawdown Environment and the United Church to advocate for climate action at home. Peter knows we can create sustainable jobs, make transportation infrastructure greener. We will help you save you money with support for green home retrofits.
Peter understands that Canada’s pandemic recovery must work for everyday people.
Trudeau makes promises but he does not deliver. We are into a 4th wave growing more rapidly than the others, yet he prematurely opens our borders. The USA has not. Why?
Canada's ultra-rich made record profits while most Canadians struggled. Peter knows that Canada’s pandemic recovery needs to work for you – not Canada’s 1%. If Biden can tax the rich in the USA why not in Canada?
As a small business owner for most of his career, he’s committed to ensuring workers and small businesses have the support they need during, and beyond the pandemic.
He believes we can make life more affordable by reducing costs on prescription drugs, child care, housing, and more.
We need a strong voice for our community who will fight for positive change. Peter believes better is possible and he’s ready to listen, and fight for you, as your Member of Parliament in Vaughan–Woodbridge.
