Biography
Ross was born and raised in Saint-Quentin. He resided in various communities in New Brunswick including Edmundston, Moncton and Fredericton. Their seven-year relationship produced a son in early 2024. Ross maintains a strong connection with the communities of the riding where many of his family members and friends still reside. “You can take the guy out of the North but you’ll never take the North out of the guy.”
During his teenage years and his college studies, Ross held various positions at Groupe Savoie Inc, a leader in the forestry sector. He therefore understands the importance of the forestry sector as an important economic engine for the region. Then, he occupied various roles in the political sector including Research Assistant at the Office of the Government Members, Research officer at the Office of the Official Opposition, Executive Secretary as well as Executive Assistant at the Department of Agriculture, Aquaculture and Fisheries, and more recently as the Executive Director to the Chief of Staff in the Office of the Premier. Before accepting this job, Ross held a position as a probation officer with the Department of Justice and Public Safety.
Ross was involved in student life during his stay at CCNB – Edmundston campus. He was president of the Edmundston Community College Student Association for the year 2013-2014. From 2015 to 2017, he was involved in the Edmundston Community College Alumni Association as a member of the board of directors.
After graduating from Polyvalente Alexandre J. Savoie in Saint-Quentin, Ross began college studies and attended the Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, Edmundston campus. After 2 years, he obtained his college diploma in Parajudicial Technique. Then, he pursued university studies in Criminology and Sociology at the University of Moncton and obtained his degree in 2018. During his university studies, he attended the Edmundston and Moncton campuses. Additionally, he attended Saint Thomas University in Fredericton as a visiting student. He took this opportunity to further improve his English proficiency.
Ross est né et a grandi à Saint-Quentin. Il a résidé dans diverses communautés au Nouveau-Brunswick dont Edmundston, Moncton et Fredericton. Leurs sept années de relation ont donné naissance à un fils au début de l’année 2024. Ross maintient un lien fort avec les communautés de la circonscription où plusieurs membres de sa famille et ami(e)s résident toujours. "Tu peux sortir le gars du Nord mais tu ne sortiras jamais le Nord du gars."
Durant son adolescence et ses études collégiales, Ross a occupé divers postes chez Groupe Savoie Inc, chef de file dans le secteur forestier. Ce dernier est conscient de l’importance du secteur forestier comme moteur économique majeur pour la région. Ensuite, Il a occupé divers rôles dans le milieu politique dont : assistant à la recherche au Bureau des Députés du Gouvernement, agent de la recherche au bureau de l’Opposition Officielle, secrétaire de direction ainsi que chef de cabinet au ministère de l’Agriculture, de l’Aquaculture et des Pêches. Ross saisi bien l’importance de l’agriculture dans la région. Il a récemment été nominé à titre de directeur exécutif au chef de cabinet au Cabinet du premier ministre. Avant d’accepter cet emploi, Ross a occupé un poste d’agent de probation au ministère de la Justice et de la Sécurité Publique.
Ross a été impliqué dans la vie étudiante durant son séjour au CCNB – campus d’Edmundston. Il a été président de l’Association Étudiante du Collège Communautaire d’Edmundston pour l’année 2013-2014. De 2015 à 2017, il a été impliqué au sein de l’Association des Anciens et Amis Collège Communautaire Edmundston à titre de membre du conseil d’administration.
Après avoir gradué de la Polyvalente Alexandre J. Savoie à Saint-Quentin, Ross a entamé des études collégiales et a fréquenté le Collège Communautaire du Nouveau-Brunswick, campus d’Edmundston. Après 2 ans, il a obtenu son diplôme d’études collégiales en Technique Parajudiciaire. Ensuite, il a poursuivi des études universitaires en Criminologie et en Sociologie à l’Université de Moncton dont il a obtenu son baccalauréat en 2018. Durant ses études universitaires, il a fréquenté les campus d’Edmundston et de Moncton. De plus, il a fréquenté l’Université Saint-Thomas à Fredericton en tant qu’étudiant visiteur. Il a saisi cette opportunité afin d’améliorer davantage sa maîtrise de l’anglais.

I am convinced that my political experience as well as my understanding of the functioning of the government machinery will help to better serve the people of our riding.
