He is an experienced software developer for local health-tech companies, who has spent the past six years working on innovative solutions to improve healthcare and wellness. In his spare time, he is deeply committed to community service and advocacy, particularly for affordable housing. As President and Chair of Make Housing Affordable, Brandon led the organization’s efforts to address housing challenges in Ottawa.

Brandon has spent many years serving his community, collaborating with numerous local organizations. Beyond his housing advocacy work, he most recently served as the Director of Volunteers for his local community association and as Chair of the Ontario Liberal Party’s Eastern Regional Policy Committee, ensuring that local issues remain a top priority for the party. In 2022, Brandon ran an advocacy campaign during the Ottawa mayoral race, bringing the issues facing the people of Ottawa to the forefront of the city’s political discourse.

Brandon grew up in Bancroft and has happily called Ottawa home since 2006. He lives in Riverside South with his wife, Rachel, and their newborn son, Simon. As a father, he is even more focused on the future he will help build for his children.
