Laura Smith is a determined problem solver who brings her skills and experience to help assist and build strong relationships within her community.

Laura is a seasoned legal professional, having owned and managed a litigation support company within the GTA.  Her business and volunteer experience has helped guide organizations to effect positive community-wide change. 

Laura is a Director with the Thornhill Thunder Soccer Club and a former vice president of a local co-operative nursery school. Laura is a huge advocate for education, youth and early childhood programs. Laura also understands the challenges for families caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s and dementia. 

Laura has worked alongside Member of Provincial Parliament, Gila Martow as the president of Thornhill’s PC’s Riding Association. She’s proven herself a tireless community champion with a deep appreciation for public service.
