Fipe Wong is a 28-year resident of Richmond in the Steveston area and an organizer for UNITE HERE Local 40. She has worked tirelessly to ensure that margenalized workers in Richmond are able to afford to live in Richmond.

As an organizer, Fipe has fought for hospitality and food service workers across British Columbia. She’s also a 20-year YVR Airport worker and a well-respected Richmond community advocate. Fipe has led the campaign for a living wage for all YVR airport workers and knocked on thousands of Richmond doors to support various local issues, including good jobs, responsible development, and affordable housing.

Fipe would like to take her experience with organizing for workers rights and a living wage to City Hall in order to ensure that all workers in Richmond can call our city home.
