Andy grew up in Richmond and served in many volunteer roles. He was a school trustee from 2002 to 2008 and was elected to City Council in May, 2021. He and his wife raised 3 children in Richmond and have 5 grandchildren living in Richmond. Andy served over 35 years with the VPD.
Reason for running

Community service and volunteer work have been constants in my life. Council is another form of service to others where you can help to make Richmond safer, more sustainable, inclusive and to provide more attainable housing options.
