I have been proud to serve Richmond City Council for 22 years. I was elected for multiple terms from 1996 to 2018. I’m concerned about maintaining a sensible and moderate stance. I’m in favour of a low tax rate and a budget that meets Richmond’s needs now and in the future.
Having lived in Richmond and growing up here, I know the issues and I understand the shortcomings and I know the solutions. We need to protect the ALR for our future, but we must balance that with growth that allows for a balanced economy.
