Biography

Brad is a determined advocate for the people of District 18, Rustico-Emerald.

First elected in 2015, Brad has been Minister of Education and Lifelong Learning; Minister of Environment, Water, and Climate Change; Minister of Social Development and Housing; and he is Chair of the Standing Committee on Natural Resources and Environmental Sustainability.

Creating the School Food Program, adding more disability and seniors housing supports, increased funding for local watershed groups and development of the new rink in North Rustico are achievements Brad is proud of.

Brad is also an active community member, involved with minor sports, North Rustico oldtimers hockey, and the Central Queens United Church. He sings and plays guitar at local benefits, ceilidhs, and kitchen parties.
