Amanda Lathlin is running as your NDP candidate in The Pas-Kameesak.
Amanda became the first First Nations woman to be elected to the Manitoba Legislative Assembly when she became the MLA for The Pas in 2015. She is a mother, a lifelong northerner, a former band councillor and the daughter of the late Honourable Oscar Lathlin. She has served as the NDP’s Critic for Sports, Culture and Heritage. Amanda has introduced legislation to expand paid leave for mothers recovering from miscarriage and passed legislation to improve sexual assault care for northerners.
