Biography

submitted by the candidate or their team
Adriane is a dedicated Mississauga resident, supply teacher and volunteer, is running to champion environmental, economic, and social policies that create a healthier, accessible future for Erin Mills.

As a long-time Mississauga resident, Adriane is very aware of the challenges facing her local community and Ontario as a whole. She is running for the Ontario Greens to ensure the provincial government acts in the best interests of Ontarians concerning environmental, economic, and social policies.

Adriane is a supply business, economics and math teacher in Peel and is a committed volunteer to causes in both her community and globally in an effort to make life a little better and/or easier for people in need of support. She leads a local Days for Girls team, is on the board of Making Prom Happen and is a Girl Guide leader. She also works seasonally with Holiday Helpers, a charity supporting low income families in the GTA.

She was motivated to run because changes are needed if Mississauga and Ontario are going to be healthy and accessible places to live now and in the future. We need a strong voice at Queen’s Park to advocate for the issues most important to us and Adriane can provide that voice for Erin Mills residents.
