Biography
Michelle grew up in Orléans and now lives there with her 11-year-old son. A proud Franco-Ontarian, she takes to heart the richness and diversity of the Francophone community, as well as the fight to maintain the French language and French-language services across the province. For over 20 years, she has worked in social and community services, particularly in the field of gender-based violence. Michelle is a Registered Psychotherapist specializing in relationship dynamics, communication and trauma. Her collaborative approach enables her to build trust and engagement within the teams she works with.
Motivated by a sense of civic responsibility, she is actively involved in her community. She has been a member of the Greater Avalon Community Association since 2022, and its President since 2024. Her determination to contribute to positive change led her to run as a candidate for the Green Party of Ontario and the Green Party of Canada in 2019. Within the Green Party of Ontario, she is the Co-Representative for the Eastern Region and the Caucus Leader for the Francophonie.
Michelle is a genuine, courageous and determined woman. She intends to continue to run until Orléans residents are ready to believe in her and the Green vision! She is prepared to invest in residents of Orléans, to listen, to learn, to gain their trust and their votes.
