With 15 years of experience in healthcare, and a deep commitment to mentoring future generations of nurses at Lambton College, Rachel brings a wealth of knowledge and leadership to the political arena. After 15 years of being a nurse in Bluewater health she had to make the difficult decision to leave during the COVID-19 pandemic to care for her children. This change provided an opportunity to teach nursing and at the same time returned to university, with a scholarship, to complete a Masters in political science focusing on public policy.
Her passion for community development and bringing people together to strengthen both Sarnia and its surrounding rural areas drives her commitment to public service. Rachel is eager to bring fresh perspectives and evidence-based policy solutions to the table, ensuring that the Sarnia-Lambton community thrives.
