Aman is passionately committed to fighting for social justice and environmental protection, as part of David Eby's BC NDP team
First elected in 2020, he made history as the first turban-wearing Sikh elected to the BC legislature. As a prominent civil and human rights lawyer, Aman has appeared at the BC Provincial and Supreme Courts and the BC Court of Appeal. He is a socially conscious small business owner and has held roles as a director of the Prof Mohan Singh Memorial Foundation, the Association of Legal Aid Lawyers, the Friends of the Sikh Cadets Society, the People’s Legal Education Society and as a Governor of Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
Aman knows we need to keep building a BC where everyone can build a good life for themselves — but there’s a lot at risk in this election. He knows that John Rustad wants to help those who already have the most, while the rest of us pay the price.
Together with David Eby and the BC NDP, Aman Singh is taking real action to lower costs for everyday people and building new hospitals so we have better access to health care.
Aman takes pride and joy in being a father to his daughter, Leni and a human companion to his two rescue dogs, Charlie and Dave. You can count on him to look out for you.
