Sav Dhaliwal has had the honour of serving Burnaby since 2002 when he was first elected as a councillor. He is just as excited to work with the community today as he was on the first day of his job. Sav's work centres people – listening to their ideas and finding solutions to their challenges. Sav brings with him 20 years of experience, including serving as the chair of several policy committees, like Parks Recreation and Culture, Environment, and Finance, and chairing the Metro Vancouver Board, UBCM, Lower Mainland Local Government Association and FCM standing committees. He uses his leadership skills to work for you and make our city a vibrant, safe, and inclusive place to live, learn and work. Sav is ready to work hard to tackle homelessness, climate change, affordability and reconciliation, and looks forward to making Burnaby a better place for you and your family.
