Biography
Kristina Loewen's life has always been about integrity, loyalty, and leadership. Growing up as the oldest of eight kids, she learned the value of hard work and responsibility early on—skills that have guided her through life. After 25 years of living, working, and raising a family in the Okanagan Valley, Kristina is deeply connected to the community she loves.
For 26 years, Kristina has been married to her best friend and business partner, Andrew. Together, they’ve raised four amazing kids. Her journey through different roles—Real Estate Professional, Doula, Youth Leader, and Care-Aide—has given her a unique perspective on life. Whether it’s helping people buy their first home, supporting families during childbirth, or caring for the elderly, Kristina brings compassion and dedication to everything she does.
In 2022, Kristina and her family took a five-month adventure in Costa Rica, soaking up the culture and gaining new insights into balanced living. This experience reinforced her belief in the importance of strong communities and clear, caring leadership—values she’s eager to bring to her campaign as the Conservative Party of British Columbia’s candidate for Kelowna Centre.
Kristina’s vision for Kelowna Centre is all about putting family and community first. She’s committed to tackling local issues like safe schools, affordable housing, a strong economy, and better healthcare. With a focus on clear communication, responsible spending, and bringing people together, Kristina wants to make British Columbia thrive again.
Kristina is excited to bring her passion, experience, and dedication to serve the people of Kelowna Centre. She’s looking forward to working with the community to create a brighter future for everyone in the heart of the Okanagan.
Reason for running
Kristina has called the Okanagan Valley home for over 25 years. She’s lived, worked, and raised her family here, and truly understands what makes Kelowna special. Her background as a Real Estate Professional, Doula, Youth Leader, and Care-Aide has given her a unique perspective and a well-rounded set of skills to tackle the issues that really matter to the community.
Kristina decided to run for MLA because she felt like her voice—and the voices of many others weren’t being heard by the current government or the opposition. She noticed a gap between what the people needed and what politicians were delivering. That’s why she chose the Conservative Party of BC, a party that she believes can bring real, meaningful change to the province.
What sets Kristina apart is her commitment to clear and compassionate leadership. She understands that in today’s politically challenging times, voters need someone who will focus on the issues that impact their everyday lives—like safe schools, affordable housing, a strong economy, and quality education and healthcare. She’s not just thinking about the present but is also dedicated to making sure Kelowna thrives for future generations.
