My family has long standing roots in Surrey and I am proud to call central city home.
I have a Bachelor of Arts in political science and history from the University of Victoria and a Master’s degree in Public Administration from Carleton University. For 25 years, I have worked in different levels of government - federal, provincial and territorial as a policy advisor. I am currently employed in the family business specializing in property management and investment and volunteer with the Surrey Food Bank.
My research and analytical skills combined with my interpersonal skills should serve me well on Surrey City Council as I will be working in collaboration with key stakeholders and other members of council. I believe that we all come out ahead by working together as a team to address issues such as affordable housing and creating more parks and recreational facilities that our residents can enjoy.
