After completing high school India, Arsh Mander moved to Canada in 2008 with his family where he completed his engineering degrees at BCIT and UBC. He started his career at BC Hydro working in distribution design. He also has good work experience participating in engineering projects both in municipal and federal projects. He is a big promoter of building safer communities by developing infrastructure, creating jobs, and putting the focus back on Surrey and the families that choose to build their lives and homes here. He wants to combine his knowledge of engineering and his sense of community to move Surrey forward, and to maintain the city’s growth, while optimizing services for all residents.
