Hi! I am a Bylaw Officer by profession and passionate about my City, where I have lived for past 18 years approximately. I would like to be your voice at City Council and bring concerns of residents and businesses to the attention of Council.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team
I was to bring some focus to Council with rising prices, inflation, and rising interest rates that there is only one taxpayer and we need a break too. Our focus should be on affordable housing, better transit connectivity and reduction in recreation centers activity rates.

-Climate Action Strategy with Solar Energy, Rain harvesting, water conservation and heat pumps for Surrey homes and businesses.

-A Social Housing Strategy for Surrey Residents with a target of 300 Units per year in consultation with BC Housing and non-profit Social Welfare Organizations. Six units of housing per property for new developments and two suites per Single Family Dwellings with parking availability.

-Support to Local Law Enforcement for smooth transition and crime reduction strategies with Public consultation.

-Green City fleet including hybrid, electric, natural gas and hydrogen vehicle options for gas savings.

-Homeless Shelters, Detox Centers and Mental Health Support for the marginalized population in consultation with Fraser Health and BC Housing.

-Funding to Surrey Business Associations to promote business and economic development in Surrey. MAKE IN SURREY initiative for manufacturing industries.

-Moratorium on Tree cutting on Public Park lands. Preserving Green Timber Forest area.

-Skytrain extension feasibility study along Scott Road - 72 Ave - King George Loop as the next Skytrain phase with consultation with Translink, City of Delta, Mayors Council and BC Ministry of Transportation. A two (2) km radius Special Transit Levy on all new developments within the new potential Skytrain route.

-IT/Tech Hub and an Aviation Hub i.e. Helicopter repair facilities in Surrey for advancement in Science and Technology.

-Infrastructure upgrades and road paving plan for Surrey Streets.

- Pedestrian Safety Plan for areas around Surrey Schools.

-Upgrading Surrey Parks and playground equipment throughout Surrey.
