We are going through some rough times right now, but there is hope for a brighter future. I would like to be part of that future by serving the people of Surrey. I tend to see things in a longer-term time frame, and I feel a great responsibility to try and make things better for our children and grandchildren. I also feel the need to speak up for those who are unable to speak for themselves and give them a voice.

I believe that:

• the environment needs to be protected and nurtured.
• the RCMP is the best choice for policing our city.
• the development of our city should not be at the expense of those who live here now, and that development should be supported by the proper infrastructure.
• the government is elected to serve the people, not the people to serve them.
