Biography

submitted to Vancouver's elections office by the candidate

I've worked to get governments to end poverty for about 40 years, for which I was awarded the Order of Canada in 2017. In August 2018, I spent four days in jail for blocking access to Kinder Morgan's pipeline. As city councillor, I've focused on protecting renters, getting safe supply, and amplifying voices not usually heard at city hall.

Reason for running

submitted by the candidate or their team

I want to make sure low income and working and young people have someone on council who sticks up for them and works for housing and climate justice including rent control and ending homelessness
