I'm running to be your voice at City Hall for a more prosperous Vancouver for everyone, by focusing on housing and affordability, health, inclusion and belonging, creating opportunities for people and businesses, and finding progressive solutions that make our city a place where we can all thrive. Everyone deserves to have an affordable, and secure home. Mental health can be addressed at city level by focusing on education and care coordination.
I moved to Vancouver from Tehran in 2015 and became a proud Canadian in 2019.
I am a medical doctor by training. Early in my career, I worked in underserved rural areas. My first job after immigration was teaching medical sciences. I am working at a health tech company now. Volunteered at MSJ hospital and pain BC.
